Imagine Series: Global Portraits is an artwork by Stacey Lee Webber made out of hand sawn US and international coins. Each image has been carefully selected from a portrait found on coins, sawn out with a traditional jeweler’s saw, and a brass post has been soldered on to the back of the coin and arranged in the painted wood backing. The custom cnc cut painted wood frame measures twenty three inches on the outside diameter. The piece hangs from two screws on the keyholes in the back. Imagine Series: Global Portraits is a one of one artwork that is signed on the back.
